Agemono
Agemono encompasses Japanese fried foods. Tempura consists of seafood or vegetables in a light, crisp batter. Karaage refers to bite-sized pieces of chicken, marinated and fried to perfection. Kushikatsu are skewered morsels of meat or vegetables, breaded and deep-fried.
Yakitori

Raw Fish/Meats
This category features Sashimi, which is expertly sliced raw fish or meat, such as tuna, salmon, or even horse, served with soy sauce and wasabi. Raw chicken sashimi is also consumed, albeit less commonly due to health concerns.

This diverse group includes Nimono, simmered dishes often made with vegetables or fish in a seasoned broth. Shumai are steamed dumplings with a meat filling. Salads offer a fresh contrast, while fried rice is a satisfying dish combining rice with various ingredients, stir-fried together.
